Due to the fast moving business nature, Symphony WMS-Online has been specially designed and streamlined for a distribution operation process. WMS-ONLINE offers flexibility in the way orders are handled and ad-hoc order changes. In the event of stock out, orders can be handled as back orders and cross docked where applicable. Orders can be picked based on delivery routes.

WMS-ONLINE can be confirmed to track inventory down the supply chain into the retail outlets and integrating with the POS (Point Of Sale) system. Using a min/max system, a PO (Purchase Order) or a replenishment task could be triggered to the distribution warehouse.
