Youth & Education

Boon Software has deep relations with the education community in Singapore. For over 13 years, tertiary intuitions in Singapore have partnered with Boon Software in the development of their Supply Chain and Logistics curriculum in hands-on approach to learning. The Company played an instrumental role in the tertiary education of Supply Chain and Logistics Studies and made an impact in the educational experiences of over hundreds of students over the many years.

Boon Software donated in excess of $2 million dollars worth of Symphony Logistics Suite licenses and services to tertiary institutions in Singapore Polytechnic (2001-present), Institute of Technical Education (2004-present) and Republic Polytechnic (2005-present) for hands-on curriculum and education purposes.

These institutions will engage their students in “real-life” logistics operations via Symphony Logistics Suite Warehouse Management Systems and work in groups to solve these operational problems to achieve their business objective.

The Company also supports the research projects commissioned by these tertiary institutions. For example, Boon Software powers the Center of Innovation in Republic Polytechnic, which uses Symphony WMS-Online to harness the full potential of the technology interfacing Symphony ASRS, RFID and Sensory Directed Modules to automation hardware to realize operational productivity and unparalleled automation for research, education and application purposes.

Social & Community

Boon Software has been a corporate partner of Care Community Services Society (CCSS) for several years. Among all the other services, the Singaporean VWO serves the community through an elderly care centre that organizes meaningful activities to keep the elderly active and to empower them with a renewed sense of purpose. These centres can become a channel of support for the needs of other elderly in the community.

The centers are located at the heart of the housing blocks in Circuit Rd and Merpati Rd and aims to provide for the low-income elderly who have mobility issues and are unable to travel far on their own.

Boon Software recently hosted the elderly beneficiaries from the Circuit Rd Centre to the Flower Dome and Forest Cloud at Gardens By the Bay wherein we had planned a few fun events for them.

CCSS team of professionally trained social workers, case workers and counsellors also provides other community services for children, youths and prison services.
