Australasian Mail Services (AMS) is one of Australia’s leading private parcel and mail distribution companies. AMS offers a full range of domestic international services for parcels and letters, including warehousing and fulfilment services for companies needing third party logistics (3PL) solutions with real-time information for their local or international shipments.

The Challenge

Operating offline with manual data and inventory management processes, its backend ran without a warehouse and transport management system, limiting its capabilities to work with a growing segment of eCommerce players that needed speedy deliveries, real-time status visibility and delivery updates.

The Solutions

Through TCD, AMS integrated the Symphony WMS and Symphony RF Barcode Solutions. This shifted AMS’ offline backend operations into on-cloud, system-directed inventory management and automated data-capture process. In-house, these efforts enabled AMS to meet labelling, asset tracking and automation of processes effortlessly for real-time data capture, accurate inventory management and digital documentation.
